Microcredential and Macrocredential in Value-Creating Education for Global Citizenship

Description:

These complementary series of courses will introduce you to the educational philosophy and practices of value-centered pedagogy. This field of humanist education focuses on the search for individual meaning and contributions to the well-being of others.
For an introduction, you can take the four courses of the Microcredential. Those highlight key concepts and themes of such thinkers as Tsunesaburo Makiguchi, Josei Toda, and Daisaku Ikeda. The Macrocredential builds on this foundation with explorations of global citizenship and Soka schools.
